When I first received an email from Naomi, I squealed to discover that she and her partner, Jen, are also “crazy dog people.” Lucky for me, the cute pair who can usually be found attending school together in South Carolina, had been in town for the holidays. We quickly discovered that there weren’t any cafés open the day after New Years, which foiled our original plans, so we ended up migrating to Reading Terminal Market—specifically the Beer Garden and produce sections (nom). A marble and mosaic courtyard by artist Ned Smythe also caught our attention, which set the scene for some intimate moments with the couple (and their newfound pigeon friend).
