A little over a month ago when my friend Susan texted to let me know her boyfriend had popped the question, I left her a squealing voicemail in return that could be heard from blocks away. So, when Susan asked if I could take her engagement photos with her fiancé, Scott, I was ecstatic. I knew they would be a blast to photograph because she is full of creative ideas and up for anything, even almost getting run over by a Septa train, Stand By Me-style. Susan and Scott are getting hitched this upcoming January in sunny California, where the bride-to-be hails from. As much as I wish I could go to wish them all the best, I have a feeling their wedding day will be nothing less than perfect.
